Bungalow Four is the amalgamation of over 40 years of production on both sides of the camera by writer, actor, director, producer, editor, narrator, and teacher D. David Morin.
Since 2011, Morin has resided in Kenya and South Africa. He also founded the Hollywood Acting Master Class. He has created narrative feature films, documentaries, shorts, commercials, food, fashion, travel and corporate content.
His apprentice, Lorrela Jowi, is now a producer and casting director in Nairobi whilst Morin stays in Cape Town.
D. David Morin was the ‘king of Commercials’ in America before moving to Africa to start his own production company (Slingshot Productions then Bungalow Four) and a professional acting school (Hollywood Acting Master Class). The Hollywood High School grad who took Rita Wilson to his senior prom, is likely most known for his recurring role as the High School Principal in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth with Joey King and Jacob Elordi.
But Morin’s acting credits also include a series reg role ahead of Jennifer Aniston in Muddling Through, and numerous scenes opposite star names including Geena Davis, Bill Paxton, Dustin Hoffman, Andy Garcia, Bette Midler, Simon Baker, Josh Duhamel, to name a few.
He has created and produced numerous award–winning feature films, documentaries, shorts, cooking shows, commercials, food, fashion, travel, and corporate content. Her extensive experience highlights her commitment to African storytellingin both narrative and animated formats.
